ATTAP a hyperpersonal starting point

ATTAP OFFERS works for you, not for a retailer. It is the part of this app that answers "and where would I actually get that?" — and it is built so the answer is the one a friend who knew the subject would give you.

What it does

• Only when there is something to get. An offer appears when your question has a real subject behind it — a product, a service, a place, a book, a car. Nothing is invented to fill a space.
• It researches before it recommends. Options are read, compared, and their links checked before you see them. A link that cannot be verified is dropped rather than shown with a shrug.
• It goes to the thing, not to a search. Every link lands on a page for a specific item. Never a category, never a search box for you to finish.
• The right kind of place for the question. A car goes to the manufacturer, to real listings, and to independent pricing. A book goes to a bookshop. A plumber goes to reviews of plumbers. Not everything is a parcel.

What it will never do

• No offer is ever marked up. You pay what you would have paid finding it yourself. Where a purchase pays a commission, the seller pays it out of their margin.
• Nothing is ranked because it pays more. A commission never moves anything up the list.
• Never on a subject that deserves better. Grief, illness, legal trouble, money trouble, addiction — these are answered, and nothing is sold against them.
• No subscription, no tier, no upsell. There is nothing to upgrade to.

Where this is going

The ambition is that using ATTAP for things you were going to buy anyway earns enough — from sellers, never from you — to pay for everything else you do here. Far enough along, the app is free because your shopping paid for it, not because your attention was sold.
